GENESIS®200

Genesis®200 is the world’s first quantitative, fully-automated, stain-free, multi-organ, 2D & 3D multiphoton imaging system, designed to aid in tissue diagnostics, as well as the tracking of treatment efficacy.

With a technology comprising Second Harmonic Generation (SHG) and Two-Photon Excitation (TPE), the commercially available system is a complementary tool for both preclinical and clinical research, and is currently utilised in clinical trials for the drug development of nonalcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH).

Genesis®200 is able to detect any marginal improvement in treatment efficacy, which is currently not available to pathologists with existing stain-based imaging techniques.

Laennec®

Laennec® is a fully automated, stain-free 2D multiphoton imaging system to aid in clinical liver diagnostics, and is built with functions similar to the Genesis®200.

Our ultra-high resolution imaging technology, based on SHG and TPE, enhances current liver fibrosis staging, and is capable of detecting fine collagen dynamics that are otherwise unobserved with conventional staining techniques. 

When combined with image analysis software algorithms, the system distinctively isolates and quantifies morphometric features, enabling the objective and accurate staging of chronic liver diseases such as Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C and NASH.

This clinical tool holds a Health Sciences Authority (HSA) Class A licence for in vitro diagnostics (IVD), and will greatly aid pathologists in their assessment of liver disease progression and regression.
